How to Use

1. Insert batteries (two 18650, sold separately) – follow +/- marks.

2. Prime your coil – 5 drops into cotton centre. Screw into tank base.

3. Fill tank – unscrew top, add e-liquid to fill ports, close.

4. Wait 5 minutes for full wicking.

5. 5 clicks fire button to turn on.

6. Touchscreen swipe to set wattage (start low: 50W, then increase).

7. Adjust airflow at the tank’s base ring.

8. Press fire button and inhale.

FAQ’s

1. Can I use my own RDA on the Species mod?
Absolutely. The 510 spring-loaded pin accommodates any RDA. Just screw it on, and the mod will read the resistance automatically. Use Temperature Control mode for stainless steel builds.

2. How do I change the wallpaper on the touchscreen?
Go to Settings > Display > Wallpaper. You can choose from five presets or upload your own via the SMOK PC software (download from official site).

3. Is the TFV9 tank leak-proof?
No tank is 100% leak-proof, but the TFV9 has excellent top-airflow and threaded top-cap design. If you close the airflow before filling and keep coils tight, leakage is rare. Avoid thin (50/50) e-liquids.

4. What’s the difference between the two included coils?
The 0.15ohm Mesh is for flavour and cloud density – best at 70W. The 0.2ohm Dual Mesh runs cooler, uses less battery, and is better for longer sessions at 55W. Both are mesh, so flavour is great on both.

5. My touchscreen froze – what do I do?
Remove batteries for 10 seconds, reinsert. That resets the mod. If it persists, update firmware via the SMOK website. The Species has a robust OS, but occasional glitches happen with any touchscreen.

6. Can I vape while charging via USB-C?
Yes, it supports passthrough vaping. However, we strongly recommend using an external charger. USB-C charging generates heat inside the mod, which can shorten battery lifespan over months of use.

7. How many puffs can I get from a full charge?
With dual 3000mAh 18650s at 60W, expect 300-400 puffs. At 100W, about 200 puffs. The screen shows real-time battery bars. Always carry a spare set of charged batteries if cloud chasing.
